Crowswing Books
is a new, exciting publishing company. We publish small run
limited edition sci-fi, fantasy and horror fiction for adults and
children - speculative fiction, as it is called by some.
We like to
think of our books as great, entertaining storytelling. In the
summer of 2005 we launched our exciting single-author
collections of short stories.
In the autumn 2005 we launched our New Wave Fiction
paperback imprint, specializing in novels, novellas, collections, and
anthologies from both award-winning authors and new writers. To view
our hectic publication schedule please click on the Catalogue pages. Writers can find tips and submission guidelines on the Submissions page...

Sean Wright's much anticipated debut novel for teenage-adult readers is The Twisted Root of Jaarfindor. If
you're a fan of Stephen King, Terry Pratchett, Michael
Moorcock, or China Mieville then this one is definitely for you.
Using the familiar landscapes and many of the cultural ideas of the
Jesse Jameson books, The Twisted Root of Jaarfindor tells the gripping tale of Lia-Va - just one of thousands on her way to the Holy Pilgrimage of Brafindor, whose 'holy' purposes might not be quite as holy as they first appear.
"One to watch out for," The Observer. "The
Twisted Root of Jaarfindor by Sean Wright is the subject of the biggest
'buzz' for an unknown author and small independent publisher since GP
Taylor's Shadowmancer," The Guardian.
